A brutal murder in Oklahoma City may have Tulsa ties. The execution-style killings of a young mother and her 7-year-old daughter happened last year in Oklahoma City. Not only were the mom and daughter murdered, but her 1-year-old son and his father were also shot during the home invasion robbery. The boy and the father survived, now detectives are reaching out to police and citizens in Green Country for help, because they believe the killer lives here. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports police say uncovering the Tulsa connection could be the key to solving the case.

The scene was horrible, a little girl, a second grader, shot to death in a back bedroom next to her mother. A one-year old toddler, just learning to walk, was shot and carried outside, his father was also shot, somehow they both survived. Police say the crime didn’t seem random, it looked like the killers knew everyone in the house and their sole intention was to execute them all.

It's been nearly a year since the murders of Latoya and Talaya Tucker in Oklahoma City, but detectives are no closer to solving the case. That's why they contacted veteran Tulsa homicide investigator Sergeant Mike Huff, to see if the clues to solving this case might be in this half of the state.

"They're getting no leads. They have some information that maybe the suspects are involved in drugs and gangs from Tulsa, so they reached out to us so we could get Crimestoppers information on this," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Mike Huff.

One suspect in the case is described as a man in his mid 20s to 30s, with a light complexion and a military style haircut. The other was 17 to 25, with a dark complexion, a baby face with short braids and a gap between his upper front teeth. They might've been driving a white car.

Detectives in both cities say they are seeing a greater need to work together because more and more of their cases overlap.

"We have seen over the years, people running up and down the turnpike to Oklahoma City, even Wichita,” said Huff. “We've had an association but we're realizing we need to meet more frequently to share information so we can help with each other's problems."

Police say these men need to be off the streets, because if they were willing to do something so vicious in Oklahoma City, there's nothing stopping them from doing it here.

Borden’s Dairy has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of these killers. All tips can be given anonymously through the Crimestoppers line, 596-COPS.
