Two people have been arrested after leading Tulsa Police on a high-speed chase overnight. Police officers were called to the Edenwood Apartments in the 2100 block of North Hartford shortly after midnight after someone shot into one of the apartment units. No one was hurt. Tulsa Police officers tried to stop a car leaving the complex, and the chase was on.
Tulsa Police say the suspect's vehicle drove through the Town Square apartments in the 1600 block of East Young Place. The suspects crashed through a gate to that complex to get away from the police officers.
The suspects kept going and the police chase wound up on south U.S. Highway 75, where the vehicle finally pulled over.
Four people in the vehicle were taken into custody. Two were arrested. They are identified by Tulsa Police as Terell Cooper, 22 and Terrence Newton, 19, both of Tulsa. Cooper and Newton were taken to the Tulsa County jail.
Tulsa Police officers searched the vehicle and found two guns in the car. Officers say a third gun was thrown out on the highway during the chase. The search for that gun continues.
