OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma City police say one of two victims of a hammer attack earlier this week has died and the complaint against the suspect is being upgraded.

Police say Robert Ripley has died at an Oklahoma City hospital of injuries suffered in the attack.

Sergeant Gary Knight says Ripley and Ryan Bibb were apparently attacked late last Thursday or early Friday while they were sleeping in their home in northwest Oklahoma City.

Officers later arrested Todd Little in connection with the attack and say Little also lived in the home with the victims.
