NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Oklahoma native Garth Brooks may be retired from touring, but he's not slowing down. In Nashville Saturday, Brooks announced "The Ultimate Hits," a greatest hits package with four new songs and a DVD full of videos.

The album, the latest in a string of CDs and box sets, will be released on November 6th.

The 45-year-old singer retired in 2001 to be a stay-at-home dad for his daughters, and he said he has no plans for a tour or a full-length album of new material.

Brooks, however, most recently performed with his wife, country music star Trisha Yearwood, at Al Gore's Live Earth concert in Washington, D.C., earlier this summer.

But he assured over 200 radio executives and music retailers that he plans to saturate the national media during the fall.

Brooks' hits include "Friends in Low Places," "Shameless" and "Longneck Bottle."
