TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Arron Oberholser says he drank about 10 to 15 bottles of Gatorade diluted with water Saturday on the course at Southern Hills. But he says he still was feeling symptoms of heatstroke during competition at the PGA Championship.

Oberholser says the heat was actually dangerous, but he still managed to shoot an even-par 70.

Temperatures reached as high as 99 degrees in Tulsa, and the humidity made it feel even hotter.

Oberholser says it's so hot it takes your mind off everything else, because you're just thinking about the heat and how you're going to survive it.

Oberholser says he doesn't envy people who live in this part of the country when they have to deal with such oppressive heat.
