OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A second person has died of injuries from a fireworks explosion on July 7th. Travis Dillard of Piedmont died Wednesday at an Oklahoma City hospital after his sister -- Shannon Wilson of Yukon -- died July 27th.
The two were burned during a fireworks show at Piedmont High School when one firework exploded close to the ground and ignited a case of other fireworks.
Officials with the state fire marshal's office investigated the explosion and call it a "freak accident."
