TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Christian Colonel and Aaron Rifkin had one RBI apiece to help Tulsa to a 3-to-0 victory over Springfield in Texas League action.
The Oklahoma RedHawks didn't fare as well, dropping a Pacific Coast League game to Sacramento in California 5-to-2.
Rifkin put the Drillers on board first with a sacrifice fly that scored Jonathan Herrera in the first inning.
Colonel singled in Chris Frey in the third inning to make it 2-to-0 and Matt Miller scored on an error by the second baseman in the seventh inning to wrap up scoring.
The Cards managed four hits off starter Sean Thompson, but Jarrett Grube and Kyle McClellan held Springfield hitless from the seventh inning on.
Cory Rauschenberger allowed five hits and two runs in six innings to take the loss for the Cards.
The Drillers get the night off before traveling to Texas for a series with Frisco.
Oklahoma continues its series with Sacramento.
