LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Two young men held up a bank Monday just after it opened and shot two employees before fleeing, police said.
The suspects, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, pulled a handgun inside the Chase bank and demanded money, then fired two shots, police said.
One victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The other suffered non-life threatening injuries, police spokesman Phil Russell said.
Police found the getaway car soon after the robbery and were searching it, Russell said.
FBI agent David Beyer said agents were on the way to the bank.
Nancy Norris, a spokeswoman for Chase in Louisville, declined to comment and referred calls to police.
