More than a hundred golf pros are competing in this years PGA tournament, and they all need a place to stay. Some will rent out swanky homes around the country club. We found everything from a $75 a night garage apartment to a four bedroom house where the owners are asking for $12,000 for the week. A few players will choose to “rough it” in some of the nicest hotel rooms the city has to offer. The Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center is just one of a few that will get to host the pro-golfers. The News On 6’s Carina Sonn reports managers are remaining very hush-
hush about who's on their VIP list.

It was reported that Tiger Woods stayed at the Renaissance Hotel when he made a brief stop in Tulsa last week. Managers say several other pros are on the VIP list, and the hotel is where they'll come to unwind during the week of the tournament.

A suite will cost about $250 a night, and comes with a separate sitting area, two TVs, a mini bar and a king-sized bed. Outside the hotel room walls, managers say they're already feeling the heat.

"There are a lot of very important people coming through so we definitely have a little bit more tension, a little bit more pressure to perform during this week," Bill Bomprezzi with the Renaissance Hotel said.

And it’s important that the hotel and the City of Tulsa make a great impression on the pro-golfers and their fans.

"We want them back ever year, want the same players back for the PGA and for the city,” said Bomprezzi. “It's great publicity for the city, so if we can make them feel welcome and make this a great stop on the tour then they'll be back.”
