STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Zac Robinson played some at quarterback and wide receiver last season as Oklahoma State tried to avoid wasting his talent by keeping him on the bench. His role this year remains undecided.
"Zac's going to play a lot of places," offensive coordinator Larry Fedora said Saturday. "Zac can play quarterback, he can play receiver, he can play running back. He can play a lot of different things. We're playing with that everyday, so it'll be interesting to see where he ends up."
Robinson played heavily into Oklahoma State's strategy in last year's Bedlam game against Oklahoma. The 6-foot-3 sophomore got extra playing time because coaches felt he was stronger in the team's no-back shotgun set than starter Bobby Reid.
In the Cowboys' spring game, Robinson had 213 total yards and threw two touchdown passes as his White team beat Reid's Orange team 35-27.
