INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ NASCAR has fined driver Greg Biffle $5, 000 and put him on probation through the end of the year. He's being penalized for skipping a press-box interview following his second-place finish in last week's Busch Series race.
Biffle says he talked to reporters on pit road after the Saturday night race but avoided the press box because of the huge crowd.
NASCAR requires the top three finishers and the highest-finishing rookie of the year candidate to attend post-race interviews.
