A congested Tulsa street is new and improved. After three months the widening project at 81st Street at Delaware Avenue is complete.
The busy street is now five lanes wide, the city says it also lowered the intersection by 16 feet so drivers have a better view, workers also improved the storm water system and updated water lines
Construction is also complete on 81st from Delaware to Harvard.
The Third Penny Sales tax passed last year paid for the $5 million project.
