Montgomery County residents are being given an opportunity to get rid of non-oil contaminated flood debris. Montgomery County Emergency Management Office says in conjunction with Montgomery County Public Works Department, crews are now picking up non-oil contaminated debris from last month’s flood.
Residents will need to separate the debris as follows:
White Goods (refrigerators, air conditioners, stoves, etc)
Household Hazardous Waste materials
General Flood Debris
Tires
All material must be placed on the county right-of-way at the entrance to the residence. Once the items are set out, rural residents can call 620-330-1170 for pickup.
