OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Officials say $8.9 million in disaster assistance has been approved for Oklahomans who suffered damages as a result of recent storms. That's according to the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Disaster-affected Oklahoma businesses, local governments, families, individuals, and certain non-profits that suffered damages from the severe storms in disaster-declared counties are eligible to apply for assistance and low-interest loans.
As of July 30th, more than 2,400 individuals have registered for individual assistance.
