TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Newcomers to the Tulsa football team will report to camp Monday to get a jump on orientation before the returning players arrive.

The new members of the Golden Hurricane will go through physicals, strength and nutrition instruction, equipment sizing and academic orientation.

The rest of the team arrives on Tuesday, and the first practice sessions are planned for Wednesday.

Tulsa will be the first of the state's three Division I schools to report. The Golden Hurricane start their season early with a Thursday night game at Louisiana-Monroe on August 30th.
