A Tulsa Police officer is treated for injuries he received in a scuffle with a suspect. It happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday when the officer responded to a burglary call at 2400 West Pine Place, said police. When the officer arrived the suspect, identified at 48-year-old Daniel Fields, was still on the scene. He fought with officers, who pepper sprayed him, police said.
The News On 6 was told a police officer got pepper spray in his face, and hurt his leg on a metal railing during the struggle. The officer was treated at the scene and is okay.
Daniel Fields, who had outstanding warrants in Osage County, was arrested. He’s expected to be charged with assault and battery of a police officer, burglary and violating a protective order, police said.
