One person is dead after a traffic accident shuts down part of the Broken Arrow Expressway overnight. It happened around 2 a.m. just west of Sheridan. A westbound car carrying four people left the roadway. The car rolled over several times. Two backseat passengers were thrown from the car. One died at the scene. The other is in the hospital.
The front seat passenger was pinned in the car, and she was taken to the hospital. The male driver was not seriously hurt.
Police are investigating if alcohol and drugs had anything to do with the accident. Westbound traffic was diverted for about an hour.
