OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality health advisory Thursday for Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Okmulgee counties.
The DEQ said that fine particulate pollution, typically blowing dust, prompted the advisory.
The advisory recommends that people with cardiovascular or lung disease, or older adults and children considered sensitive to fine particulate matter should stay indoors or limit outdoor exposure and avoid heavy traffic areas.
