In Case You Wondered why You're 14% Less Tan than Last Year ...

Data from the Oklahoma Mesonet show that this year has been the
dimmest in its 13+ year history. Thankfully, we mean "dim" in a
literal sense. Since January 1, on average, each square meter
of Oklahoma earth has received a total of 3371 Mega-Joules of
solar radiation. This compares with a 1994-2006 average of 3667
Mega-Joules, and it is a full 14% less than last year sum-to-date
of 3923.
