PAGE, Okla. (AP) -- The Civil Air Patrol in Oklahoma Wednesday found the wreckage of a small airplane that has been missing since Friday. The one person who was on board the plane was found dead at the scene in the Ouachita National Forest in Le Flore County.

CAP spokesman Charles Newcomb says the wreckage was spotted from the air about 11:20 a.m. Wednesday and crews on the ground found it near the town of Page between five and ten miles west of the Oklahoma-Arkansas state line.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has said the pilot was Curtis Leroy Hazen of Muse and was flying from Big Cedar to Mena, Arkansas.
