A Tulsa business is burglarized for the second time in two days. It happened in the 700 block of East Pine early Wednesday morning. Tulsa Police say on Tuesday morning, someone broke in through a window and took shoes and cell phones. Early Wednesday morning, police officers say the business was again hit, with thieves stealing more items after using the broken window to gain entry.
Tulsa Police are investigating.
One Person Injured In Overnight Accident
A Tulsa teenager escaped serious injury when she rolled her car overnight. Tulsa Police say around midnight, a moving van got onto U.S. Highway 169 from I-44 and veered into the middle lane.
Another driver on U.S. Highway 169 had to swerve to avoid the van. That driver moved into the teen’s lane, causing the teen to hit the wall and flip. The moving van kept on going.
Tulsa Police continue to investigate.
Car Runs Into A Business
It was a scary moment for a Tulsa woman and her teenage brother overnight. Tulsa Police say about 4:30 a.m., the pair ran their SUV in to "Spanky's" bar in the 700 block of North Sheridan. The woman told police officer the accelerator had stuck, causing the vehicle to jump forward into the building.
No one was hurt.
Police say the woman had apparently taken the SUV without her mother's permission.
Overnight Fire Damages An Apartment
Five adults and one child have been displaced after an overnight fire in their apartment. It happened at Fairmont Terrace Apartments in the 1100 block of East 60th Street at around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Tulsa Fire officials say no one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
