SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into an allegation that an employee in the Creek County district attorney's office sexually assaulted a young girl. The OSBI did not name the target of its investigation, but on Friday, the wife of an investigator in Creek County District Attorney Max Cook's office requested a protective order against her husband, Ed Willingham Jr. In her request for the order, Joyce Willingham said her husband told her he would shoot at any sheriff's deputies who came to arrest him.

The court petition doesn't specify a reason Ed Willingham Jr. might be arrested but alludes to an OSBI interview that took place Thursday.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown confirmed the agency was investigating an allegation that someone in Cook's office had sexual relations with an underage girl but declined to name the target of the investigation.
