A court appearance for a Tulsa home daycare owner charged with murder and child abuse was postponed Tuesday morning. Vicki Chiles was set to be arraigned in Tulsa County District Court and find out when her trial would begin, but the hearing was passed until next month.
Last week, Chiles waived her right to a preliminary hearing in the child abuse case and a judge ruled there was evidence to go to trial on the murder charge for the death of 2-year-old Joshua Minton, who was in her care.
Chiles is now set to be back in court in late August.
