A short Tulsa Police chase overnight ends with a man in custody. The chase ended at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of North Garrison. The driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Kansas. The driver also faces several new charges for eluding officers.
The car was reportedly stolen.
In an unrelated incident, another high speed police around east Tulsa ends with a crash and two people transported by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.
It started about 3:45 a.m. Monday, when a Broken Arrow Police officer tried to make a traffic stop for speeding. The chase ended a few minutes later when driver lost control while traveling over some railroad tracks and the car slammed into a power pole near Pine and North 145th East Avenue.
Police say three men were in the car, two passengers went to the hospital. The driver was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail.
