An accident in northern Tulsa County leaves an Owasso man hospitalized and another man in the Tulsa County jail overnight. The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near 106th Street North and 133rd East Avenue.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says John Danchertsen was riding his bicycle when he was hit from behind by the driver of a Jeep. The driver, 26-year-old Courtney Pride drove a few blocks to his house and called for help.
Danchertsen was transported to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.
Pride was taken into custody on a variety of charges including reckless driving, leaving the scene of an injury accident and suspicion of DUI.
