WILBURTON, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating what happened when a Wilburton man's vehicle went off a Latimer County road and hit a utility pole.

Troopers say 57-year-old Bobby Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident about 6:37 p.m. Wednesday near Wilburton.

The patrol believes Jennings was driving north on the road when his car ran off the right side, traveled through two fences, a pasture and then the pole.

Troopers suspect it may have been related to a medical condition.

They say Jennings was wearing a seat belt.
