COFFEYVILLE, Kan. (AP) -- Health officials are urging flood victims and recovery workers in Coffeyville to get tetanus and diphtheria shots. Free vaccinations are available at clinics Tuesday in Coffeyville and Independence. Officials say anyone who's been in the floodwater or doing cleanup should have a shot or a booster.
A Town Hall Meeting is set for the Field Kindley High School Gym in Coffeyville from 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will address health issues and take questions about displaced residents returning home.
The city of Coffeyville has set up a special web site with flood related information.
