PURCELL, Okla. (AP) -- A Purcell daycare has agreed to temporarily close at the request of the state Department of Human Services after the latest in a string of complaints about the facility.
Almost six months ago, DHS issued a confirmed finding of child sex abuse allegations at Dragon's Den Childcare and Preschool, but allowed the facility to remain open.
The daycare closed on Friday.
DHS spokesman George Johnson says the agency requested the temporary closure so that it could investigate a complaint it received Wednesday about the daycare.
He says that complaint does not involve child abuse or neglect and the investigation should last about a week.
