SILVERSTONE, England (AP) -- Kimi Raikkonen wins the British Grand Prix with rookie Lewis Hamilton finishing third in his home country.

Raikkonen finished 2.4 seconds ahead of Fernando Alonso to win his second straight race.

Hamilton has finished in the top three in all nine Formula One races this season. The Brit leads the overall standings with 70 points. He's 12 ahead of Alonso, his McLaren teammate.

Raikkonen is six more points back in third.

The Finn gets his 12th career F-1 win and third this season.
