A Tulsa police officer was taken to the hospital after a crash. Police say he was running his lights and siren south on Cincinnati. When he came to the intersection at Apache, the driver of an SUV didn't yield. Police say witnesses told them the officer did stop and the intersection appeared clear. The officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Police say the people in the SUV refused treatment. Officers didn't issue any tickets on the scene.
"We'll let the city attorney and all them make the determination on what, if any, charges are filed later on,†said Tulsa Police Cpl. Darren Bristow.
