A 2-year-old Sand Springs girl who was pulled unconscious from a swimming pool earlier this week has died. Sand Springs Police say Sarah Townsell died Wednesday at a Tulsa hospital.

Police say the child was found floating in her family's swimming pool late Tuesday morning.

The girl was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.
