OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- The Oklahoma RedHawks are looking to bounce back tonight against having their season-best six-game winning streak ended by the Omaha Royals.
The Royals beat Oklahoma 9-6, ending a three-game losing streak of their own. The loss dropped the RedHawks 3-and-a-half games behind New Orleans in the Pacific Coast League's American South Division.
Oklahoma will wrap up its current road trip tonight, sending Mike Wood to the mound. Wood has a 7-1 record and a 2.44 ERA this season.
Omaha will start Scott Elarton in the series finale.
The RedHawks will return home to begin a series Wednesday against the Nashville Sounds.
