WIMBLEDON, England (AP) _ David Martin of Tulsa becomes the first tennis player from Oklahoma ever to advance to the third round of a Grand Slam event as he and his doubles partner win a second-round match at Wimbledon.

Martin and Scott Lipsky beat Michael Berrer and Michael Kohlmann of Germany 6-7, 7-5, 7-6, 7-6 Monday to advance to a third-round match against the fifth-seeded duo of Martin Damm of the Czech Republic and Leander Paes of India, who won last year's US Open doubles title.

Martin graduated from Holland Hall High School in Tulsa. He and Lipsky are ranked 119th in the world.
