It probably comes as no surprise that the war in Iraq will be a key issue when people go to the polls in November to decide who will be our next president. In the latest Oklahoma Poll, nearly 22% of Oklahomans says the war is the single most important issue.
That's followed by morals and religious issues at just over 11%, the economy at just under 11% and the quality of the candidate at 10%.
So which candidates have the qualities people want?
When Republican voters were asked who would make the strongest leader, understand their problems and be most honest, Mike Huckabee came out on top. John McCain, though, was seen as having the best experience.
When Democrats were asked the same thing, Hillary Clinton led the way except in the area of honesty. John Edwards was seen as most honest and trustworthy.
