The ice storm may have stolen some of your Christmas light looking time, so this story is about a must see display. News On 6 photojournalist Ty Lewis was on one of those "limo light tours” and saw a house he thought deserved a revisit. The News On 6’s Rick Wells reports Ty’s find was in a Bixby neighborhood.

Jim Selph's house is at 10708 South 87th East Avenue in Bixby. It’s pretty spectacular in the daylight and an unbelievable sight at night.

“I just love it, I'm a kid who never grew up,” said Jim Selph.

He says he's been decorating his house for about 22 years and is always shopping for something new.

“If I see something I can't live without, then I buy it,” said Jim Selph.

He says he stopped counting a few years ago at 350,000 lights, but that doesn't count the animated figures in his yard. When the inflatable decorations came out, he got some of those.

His electric bill is as spectacular as the display when he reached social security age a couple of years ago he put out a sign asking those who like his display to kick in to keep the lights on, and many have. He begins putting the display up around the first of October. He has also had some volunteers help him from Bixby High School and local YMCAs.

The entire display is dedicated to his daughter, Tracy, who died in a car accident 11 years ago. He says she loved the lights.

"Christmas is a time of giving and it's my time to give,” said Jim Selph.

Jim says he leaves the lights up through New Year's Eve. If you'd like to find them, he lives in South County Estates. From Memorial, you turn east on 106th Street and look for the glow in the night sky.
