UNDATED (AP) -- Another winter storm is headed for Oklahoma.
The National Weather Service says a winter weather advisory is in effect in the far western Panhandle through Wednesday morning as the storm system moves into the state from the west.
Snow is in the forecast for the Panhandle and western Oklahoma Wednesday.
Moderate to occasionally heavy snowfall is possible at times, especially across the western two thirds of the far western Panhandle.
There is a good chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms elsewhere in the state with a slight chance of rain continuing through Wednesday night.
The chance of snow will continue Thursday, especially in northwestern Oklahoma. Dry conditions will return on Friday and will last through the weekend, with near normal temperatures.
