Storm clean-up takes center stage now as much of Green Country has power restored. From weather heads to tree debris to shelter for those still in the dark, it can be hard to know where to turn. News On 6 anchor Terry Hood reports there are some useful numbers that can help those dealing with the stormâ€™s aftermath.

It depends on what you need done, but a non-profit call center is helping residents find assistance. Meanwhile, operators are standing by for the city as it's helping with some electrical repairs and debris removal.

But, city officials are now telling residents not to call the action center hotline about tree removal. The city plans to go neighborhood to neighborhood to pick up trees left at the curbside. The action center can help you find numbers for PSO, information about trash removal and the state hotline for damage assessment.

â€œAfter Operation Power Up was started, the weather head boxes was the next popular call,â€ said K.T. Vogler, action center operator.

Operation Power Up is the city sponsored program to help residents repair electrical equipment that was ripped from their homes.

â€œAnd that is if you have damage on the weather head that is on your home that is preventing reconnection of power to your home then you should call that number and then we can get an electrician out,â€ said City of Tulsaâ€™s Kim MacLeod.

The other big issue is people who are still without power or the elderly who are isolated. The 211 Call Center can help arrange the check-up. City leaders hope residents take advantage of these numbers in hopes of getting life back to normal.
