PSO is reporting some places may not have power restored until Tuesday. Six-thousand workers from 14 states are in town trying to restore power. PSO has been updating customers online. Its goal is to complete restoration to 95% of its customers by midnight Tuesday. The News On 6’s Dan Bewley found that restoration is hit and miss, some have power while their neighbors are still in the dark.

“I would describe it as testing,” said Midtown resident Margaret White.

White says it’s a true test of patience.

“That's appropriate since it's finals week at universities here in the state,” said White.

A good example of what Tulsans are being tested with this week can be seen at 25th & Lewis. Lights are shining bright on the south side of the street.

“Got it Tuesday night,” said White of the shining lights.

A different story on the north side.

“It's like when I was a little girl. I'm doing laundry in the bath tub. Cause we have hot water,” said Carol Ebrahimi.

Ebrahimi expects to be without power for another three days.

“You do the best you can. We went out and bought candles, bought a battery powered radio, kind of keep up with what's going on,” said Ebrahimi.

So while the Ebrahimi's still struggle to make it through the day, their neighbors get to enjoy Christmas lights. Carol admits to having power envy but says there are no hard feelings.

“They've been very nice, they've offered,” said Ebrahimi.
