MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- A weekend of Oprah-mania on the campaign trail is over. It ended in Manchester, New Hampshire.

About 8,500 people turned out to greet talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

After two days of campaigning, Winfrey said she had overcome her initial nervousness, adding she was "beginning to like this."

In a slightly different twist on Obama's frequent argument that a long Washington resume doesn't necessarily make for a good president, Winfrey appealed to the parents in the audience. Winfrey said: "You know it's not the amount of time you spend with your child, it's the quality of that time."

Earlier in the day, the Oprah and Obama show packed in nearly 30,000 people at the University of South Carolina's football stadium.

Winfrey told the crowd: "January 26th is your moment," referring to South Carolina's primary date.
