On Friday, many dreams became reality. Tulsa honored 35 of its newest firefighters, the Tulsa Fire Academy's, Class 707. The ceremony caps off months of training for the graduates. And many say they’ve waited years for the opportunity to serve the TFD.
"My dad has been a Tulsa firefighter since I could remember. So I knew since I was a little kid that this is what I wanted to do,†said Tulsa Fire recruit Jeremy Agee.
The new firefighters head off to their stations next week to start work.
