ELGIN, Okla. (AP) -- Elgin police say a bomb threat that closed Elgin High School has been traced to a 16-year-old student who has been arrested.
Police Chief Carl Bremenkamp says a search turned up no bomb and no injuries are reported.
The chief says the threat was called to the county's 911 center just after 6:30 Thursday morning and the call was traced to the cell phone of the student now in custody.
No students were in the school at the time but Bremenkamp said kitchen workers had arrived and were taken out of the building and a bomb-sniffing dog was brought to the school from Fort Sill.
