CINCINNATI (AP) - The high cost of tuition made them do it. Two college students have pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, admitting they held up an Ohio bank at gunpoint because they were strapped for cash to pay for college.

One man says scholarships and financial aid couldn't keep up with tuition hikes. The other says his internship fell through and he couldn't pay for summer classes. He told a judge, "I thought I had nothing to lose."

They wore masks and carried guns in the July robbery that netted them $130,000. The two men face 20 years in prison and will be sentenced later this month.
