TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A man accused of leaving his four children in a car in Tulsa while he went into a strip club is now charged with felony child endangerment. Cardrico Nash was arrested after a cab driver found four children including a 3-month-old sleeping alone inside car outside the Tabu Topless Cabaret on November 28. The other children found were ages 4, 6 and 7.
Investigators say Nash had been in the club for one to two hours while outside temperatures fell to about 35 degrees. Tulsa Police woke up the children and gave them blankets. EMSA paramedics checked the kids out and determined all of them were cold, but unhurt.
Nash remains in the Tulsa County jail on $50,000 bond. His former arrest record includes a conviction for not paying child support and carrying a firearm while he was on probation. He served two years in prison and got out in 2005.
