A 43-year-old man who walked away from a minimum-security prison facility in Tulsa is recaptured overnight after leading Tulsa Police on a high-speed chase. A police officer spotted a stolen car and when she turned on her lights and pulled up behind it, the driver took off.
After a short chase, the suspect, Glen Lewis hit a parked car near Harvard and Admiral. After the accident, Tulsa Police say Lewis ran off on foot but was captured a few blocks away by police officers.
No one was hurt in the accident. Lewis was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of eluding law enforcement and escape from a penal institution.
