Fire damages an eastside Tulsa home overnight. Tulsa firefighters were called to a home near 31st and Memorial around 1 am Monday, before they even got there, they could see the flames.
Tulsa Fire officials believe the fire started in the kitchen area of the home and may have been caused by food left on the stove.
The fire caused heavy damage to the kitchen, living room and dining room. In addition, there was smoke damage throughout the house.
No one was home at the time and the cause remains under investigation.
Damage is estimated at about $70,000.
