A plane has crashed near the Jones Riverside Airport in Jenks. The crash scene is east of Elwood and north of 81st Street. Indications are three people were onboard the aircraft. News On 6 anchor Craig Day reports one person was pulled from the wreckage alive. The survivor is reportedly the Little Rock police officer. Fifty-nine-year-old Rick Musticchi suffered a broken leg, among other injuries. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition. A police officer on the scene says two others, believed to be the Musticchi's wife and father, were killed in the crash. The crash sparked a large grass fire in the area.

Dan Howard with Dan Howard Aircraft tells The News On 6 his company sold Musticchi and his wife the aircraft earlier in the day. They reportedly went on a two hour testflight and there were no problems reported with the Cessna Turbo 210 airplane. The couple were reportedly returning to Little Rock when they experienced an electrical problem, lost lights, hit power lines and crashed.

Rick Musticchi was reportedly an experienced pilot. Dan Howard tells The News On 6 he has never had any problems with any plane he has sold.
