The TU men's soccer team and volleyball squad will be competing in the NCAA tournament this week. The 6th-ranked Golden Hurricane soccer team will host Central Connecticut State in the second round of the NCAA tournament on Wednesday night. The TU volleyball squad will head to Manhattan, Kansas to face Kansas State in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
The Golden Hurricane volleyball squad will square off against 9th-ranked Kansas State in the Manhattan Regional. TU (27-8) earned an automatic bid by winning the Conference USA championship. The game time is scheduled for Friday at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Tulsa men's soccer earned a bye in the first round of the tournament after receiving Conference USA's automatic bid and winning both the C-USA regular season and tournament titles. The Golden Hurricane (15-2-2) are led by senior Todd Goddard and junior Eric DeFreitas, who have a combined 18 goals on the season. The game is set for 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
Tickets are available at the gate and are $8 for adults, $6 for youth and $5 for groups of 15 or more.
