NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma defensive end Auston English is on the final watch list for the Ted Hendricks Award presented annually to the top defensive end in college football.

The next step for the Hendricks Award is to trim the list to six finalists. This vote will be concluded on November 26, and the finalists will be announced on November 28. The winner will be announced on December 5.
Head coach Bob Stoops says a decision on whether English will play Saturday likely will made at game time.
