Saint Francis Hospital says a male nurse who is accused of raping patients was suspended immediately after the allegations were made and was fired soon after. The alleged attacks happened back in July and August, but they only came to light publicly this month, after an anonymous lawsuit was filed in Tulsa County District Court.
A spokeswoman for the hospital says they didn't publicize it earlier because no charges have been filed. Tulsa Police say they didn't report it because they didn't want to jeopardize their investigation, which they say is still ongoing.
