The New York Giants hung on for a 16-10 win at Detroit, giving Big Blue a 7-and-3 record. Eli Manning was 28-of-39 for 289 yards but got the Giants into the end zone just once, on a 10-yard pass to Brandon Jacobs.
The Lions got within six points when Jon Kitna hit Calvin Johnson for a 35-yard touchdown with 4:34 left. But Kitna was intercepted on the Lions' last two possessions, leaving Detroit 6-and-4.
